What is Faith General view

Part 1

Faith is the substance of things hope for’ the evidence of things not seen.

Faith is the real facts of things hope for, the proof of things not seen

Faith is the realities of things hope for, the proof of things not physical to the eyes.

Faith is the materialization of things expected, the representative of things invisible

Faith is the result of things expected, the answer to things invisible

Some common Definition (OALD /CUD)

Substance: - Material with particular physical characteristic.

Hope- Something good that you want to happen in the future or a confident feeling about what will happen in the future. To want something to happen or to be true, and usually have a good reason to thing that it might happen.

Evidence: - One or more reason for believing that something is or not true.

Things: - Used to refer in an approximate way to an object or to avoid naming it. Used to refer to the general situation

Not seen: - invisibility or invisible, cannot be seen with physical eyes or not physical.

Cambridge University Dictionary defined Faith as meaning to have great trust or confidence in something or someone

 – accept/take something on faith means to be willing to believe something without proof

– put/place your faith in something/someone means to make a decision to trust something or someone.

Have Faith in God.
